Default convertible exhaust question..npp?

Hey guys I am thinking of swapping out my Borla Touring for NPP exhaust with m2w switch.

My question is that I see so many people selling their NPP. why are yall changing this system out? I just don't want to go through a lot of work for something I wont be happy with.

Car is 2007 convertible , getting headers and cam this weekend.

Added factory NPP to my 2009 vert a couple years ago and love it, it's great to have the sound when yoou want it but on long trips it's nice to not have it! I have no complaints about it.

from what I've read on here, w. headers and cam the NPP will drone at highway speeds/rpms if left open. if you get them,, you'd better have something that adjusts like the collars, or expect you might have to leave them closed on the highway.

I have them on my 07 Vert. That is the beauty of the NPP. If you find you have drone on the highway, you can just close them.
I have my roof down most of the time so that isn't an issue, and when it is up, and I am on the highway, I usually have the valves closed. I don't really want more noise than necessary when on a long trip.
When driving around town the sound of the open exhaust is amazing. definitely worth doing in my opinion.

If you have doubts it might be worth the time to find some similarly equipped cars in your area and check the sound for yourself.

Sound is like color, very individually subjective.

I put NPP on my 06 vert with a Sunset Orange Exhaust Commander Elite kit (the Elite is worth the upgrade) and I couldn't be happier. Loud when I want it and quiet when the wife is in the car or while on trips.
