Default 2012 GS Corvette

I have a 2012 GS and I am trying to disable the Dual Mode exhaust. I pulled what I thought was the fuse to disable it but nothing changed. Please enlighten me on to how I can turn off the ridiculous feature

Here is the pdf and it's on page 10-51. It is the Instrument Panel Fuse Block (under the passenger floor mat) labeled "EXH MDL".

Pulling it does not effect any other system.

BTW! You will notice some increased cabin drone with the feature disabled but the crackling exhaust is worth it.................LG!

Just install a switch and you can have it either way whenever you want . The drone gets old on the highway, especially with company. Good luck.

Interesting, most people love the NPP exhaust. I think it was a 1200 option too.

If you pull the fuse, the exhaust will remain open all of the time. The exhaust is open when you first start the engine but then quickly closes. The exhaust valves won't open again until aggressive throttle at about 3500 rpms, so most of the time the exhaust system is closed - great for those highway trips and no drone, in fact a little too quiet at times.

I really like the system, I wish it would not close so quickly on decel but that's my only complaint.
