Probably get 50/50. I would say yes but it depends on how much meth you are spraying. If you are using a very small nozzle and only adding a little bit so your AFR isn't pig rich then you may get away with it for awhile. That being said, I would plan on tuning it when you can or finish any other mods.

I just ordered a stage 3 snow kit. The rep at snow said with the stage 3 kit when spraying for cooling only, the device the kit comes with let's you program when it sprays and the amount. It sprays based off boost and injector pulse width which you set on the device, this makes it so the car does not need tuning. I will probably install, mess with the controler and take it in for tuning when I get something else done.

Don't believe them and if you have time, return it and get an Alky control kit. They are 10x better.

I don't see why you NEED to be retuned if your car is already tuned and you're adding methanol, it will just lower the intake temps and make the car run a little richer. If you want to take full advantage of the methanol, then a tune would help.

You can add more timing with the meth kit installed so I would think a retune would be in order?

most definitely,,,specially if your car is supercharged..the intent of the meth kit is to lower the air intake temperature by injecting the liquid. since the intake air is lower this allows the tuner to change the timing in your car to generate more power. the meth also acts as an octane booster to the mixture. by not re-tuning you are just wasting your time with the meth kit and not taking full advantage. all you are doing is basically cleaning your valves with the liquid..

in one of my mustang projects i gained 15 RWHP after adding the meth kit and re-tunning..

Those of you with N/A builds, what kind of power increases are you seeing (or expecting) by adding meth and what is your set up? I'm wondering if adding meth would be worth it on my H/C LS2.....?
