Simple Question
Can I plug this Battery Tender into my Cigarette Lighter and leave it for days, weeks, months etc without worry? (Set it, and Forget it?)
I tried it one day and left it plugged in for at least 4 hours and the Half Battery light never went to FULL CHARGE. I am just apprehensive to leave it in the PLUGGED IN and ON position for days/weeks/months.
The Manual does NOT clearly state that this unit can be left plugged in without worry.
So my question is simple. Is this unit a "Set it, and Forget it" style Battery Charger? (Plug in, power up, leave it for months).
If you used this exact GM product, have you had ANY issues in the past? Starting fires, burning out cigarette lighter, over charging battery, exploding battery, house burnt down, etc.
