Actually, I used our factory nav for a couple of years without even reading (well, trying to read) either the factory manual or talon90's tutorial. I didn't know how to use some of the advanced functions, but even with my somewhat limited knowledge it would do more than our Garmins. Now that I've studied the rest of the info, it does even more.
But again, every unit has pros and cons, the importance of them will be different for each of us. Study, think with an open mind, and decide.
