Has anyone had any problems with the aftermarket lowering bolts from Corvette Mods in Texas..drove car yesterday and could hear noise like a suspension piece was hitting metal to metal..checked out and the drivers side rear rubber on the bolt has torn to were it is metal on metal to the lower a arm. I have not had these on but for about 2 months.
Hardbar or stock - the only options. All those "rubber-wrapped" bolts are serious junk. It amazes me that reputable Corvette aftermarket businesses still offer them.

I like the factory bolts cut down. I had a set of lowering bolts. Its just a ploy to get you to spend $. Take your factory units and cut off one or two sections. These will be better than anything you can buy.
Trust me

Just be sure that when you recommend this method to people that you also let them know them that those cut bolts cannot be replaced without purchasing the entire spring. Basically, those bolts cost around $300 per pair.
