I'm pretty bummed about it considering I was planning on getting tuned this weekend. Hopefully they make it right and in a timely manner.

Me too! That doesn't look to good, that's a lot of money to throw down for that part too. I hope they make it right.

I just bought a fast intake a month ago and it picked up 4hp on the dyno, now you got me wanting to go take it off the car and check it out.

please keep posting what happens.

$200 per HP, not a good deal.

Did you check to make sure the runners were seated correctly? Half of mine weren't that's how I needed up seeing the rest.

The quality definitely leaves a lot to be desired. There have been many issues with them over the years, but they do perform well on certain setups. Make sure you loctite all of the bolts holding that thing together. Found all of mine loose, just recently. A couple of runner bolts weren't too far away from falling into the motor.

Wow! I've always read nothing but good stuff with the 102s, and no issues besides install error. It's been over 24hrs and still nothing. Even though fast drop shipped the manifold and has my info they won't fix anything till the company who sold the intake contacts them. In my eyes is terrible considering I work in the industry myself, and would never do that.

That is how they come out of the box. I've ported a bunch of these and re-fitted the runners to get less gap.

My friend has one brand new that is completely fine and sealed perfectly. Quality control is the issue. The company I work for manufactures a lot of pieces for many companies out of plastic. Unless their tooling is damaged it shouldn't come out like this. If this was a $50 item I wouldn't care but being it's close to $1000 that's not going to fly.

Honestly the 102 is not nearly as bad as the FAST 92. Those have all kinds of flash and fitment issues.

I was under the impression that all those issues were fixed with the fast 102. The thing that's really bothering me is the customer service from fast, they keep giving me the run around. I was originally told they would ship out a replacement not they're telling me they need this one back first to be inspected. Kind of annoying getting responses and having already rented the dyno.

Well.... After getting the run around for two days I finally got to speak to someone who said they would get this taken care for me once I sent them pictures. He responded and said he's showing his "engineers". An hour later he sent another email saying the "engineers" are looking at the pictures and they will need a few days to figure out what's going on....

I'm completely shocked by how terrible such a reputable company's customer service is.

Surprising to see that. I bought one about three years ago and had it ported, and it was perfect as far as I could tell. It's even more surprising to see their response to your situation. I would have thought they would have shipped out a replacement right away. Not a good way to keep customers

That's what I was told originally... They were going to ship one out with a return label. That didn't happen though.

Still haven't heard back, I may just take some advice from c5kid and just fix it myself. Just make sure if any of you decide to buy a fast 102 open it up and inspect it before installing it.
