Shifter in C6 Automatic
Can someone tell me how to get the shifter in my 2005 automatic out of park? They tell me to take the boot off and press a button or something but I don't even know how to get the boot off .....Any help would be appreciated....Thank you so much

Please remember to record your car and the locked transmission at www.safercar.gov which is the NHTSA website. It is important to record even if paid thru warranty or extended warranty. The replacement part is NO different than original part and will also likely break in given time.
