Default Susp bushing replacement

I'm looking to replace the factory rubber bushings on my 05 z51. Sway bar, a arms, etc...The car now has 84K on it and some of the bushings are starting to look worn out and beginning to crack. I'm having a particularly hard time finding the sway bar bushings. Does anybody make a good aftermarket bushing kit for these cars?

If you are going to install Polyurethane bushing, lube them well or your going to have a lot of squeaks (and may have to relube them every year to prevent them from squeaking too).

Poly bushings can give you better handling at the extremes but if you aren't driving at that level they may be hard to live with since they can squeak like hell and can make the car ride harder. Something you want to think about before spending the bucks and then being dissatisfied.

I have Pfadt bushings and they don't squeak, but then again, I don't drive the car every day.

Another option is to get T1 control arms with the stiffer bushings.

Thank guys, yes I'm going with the poly bushing. No worries on the ride. I used them on other cars in the past I was just having a hard time finding a kit (thanks timd38). I was under the car the other week doing the exhaust and noticed some cracks starting to form in the sway bar bushings. The rest are prob not too far behind might as well go thru the whole thing and do it once. 84K on the car so they probably due for an overhaul.

If you live close to me, I have a press and the tools in my garage to push the bushings in and out.

Thank you for the generous offer. Unfortunately I am in PA. I've been meaning to buy a shop press anyway so might be just the excuse for another tool in the garage.

For sure you will want a press around to do those.

Getting the stock ones out is more of a pain in the butt than putting the new stuff in.

When you get the press, get a puller kit with the clam shell halves. Some of the factory bushings need to come out in a direction that makes it difficult with a bottle jack press. If you have the clam shells, it's no biggie. just finished mine. My sway bars have the GMPP sway bar bushings.
Cheers

I used a press with ball joint removal adapters. There are many ways to do, just don't use a torch!
