Need help, open headers tune??
Will my sc427 be damaged by me driving it with just the open headers?
I did this on a lift at my office Saturday.
I am switching from a borla catback to bullets and as with my luck when I pulled the borla stuff off, the piping from the bullets will not clamp up to the piping behind my existing x pipe and high flow cats...so I was forced to drive my car home with nothing but headers...my check engine light is now on and the car " seemed" to be not running right at all!!..
I need to get it from home to a shop in the morning....will I hurt it?

I run cutouts with dump before the mufflers with no problems for 7 years now.
You could scan the code with a cheap code scanner from walmart if you are worried...post it up and we will chime in on what it is and what it means.
