Fellow forum members, I installed a spanking brand new set of OBX headers and flowmaster exhaust on my 06 a6 corvette, no tune yet. After about 400 miles of driving, I got a check engine light. Now mind you, I did not expect a light from my front o2 sensors, but the rear ones is a different story altogether. I recieved sixteen different codes from both front and rear sensors. I dont want to tune it until I install my varaam intake, should be here in a few days. I did the rear o2 trick, using sparkplug extenders. I used the o2 wires within the harness for the front, had to cut open harness to get to wires, but it worked. If rear sensors throw codes? does that confuse the front ones? or do I just need a tune? I tell you one thing, this vette runs like a scared ape. I"m going to cut the check engine light out and drive it again. SOO much fun
Yes the codes are from the Rear o2 sensors if you list the codes it spitting out we can give you a better direction but you will continue to get the codes until the car gets tuned.
