Default Totally Frustrated - What to do?

I really do hope that someone out there can suggest some solutions...
briefly:

LS7 (modified)
E38 ECM - supplied with engine
HP Tuners kit but amateur at it!

Last year, engine tuned by UK specialist, but lots of problems due to cam overlap using MAF. Tuner suggested going for Speed density tune...

BUT, during all this, the ECM was reporting a problem with the Knock sensors (P0324 - Knock Sensor module performance (SES). Wiring checked, new sensors but no difference.
Tuner tweeked settings in ECM to reduce sensitivity... no errors - great I thought...

Then due to MAF problem Tuner went for Speed density tune, and new tune maps created... much better, no hesitation...then wound back up the knock sensor settings.... nothing - sounds good except for the fact that the engine was evidently knocking at certain points in the test.

Tuner changed ign advance map to eliminate (based on stethoscope).
WINTER

This year no tuner... cannot find anyone real good on HP Tuners stuff.

Although the car is performing very well, I am very concerned since no knock sensors working.

So... faulty ECM? or can someone suggest some routes to take that will not destroy my wallet?

Any chance you're running NGK TR6 spark plugs?

Those plugs are complete crap. The last time I ran them I couldn't believe it when I was actually getting knock at idle that I could both hear and see on the VCM scanner.
