Fan switch?
Can I assume correctly that the cooling fan is switched on by the computer via grounding the low side wire to chassis/battery negative. That is how my C4 worked. On it I added a toggle switch from low low side fan wire so I could turn fan on at will. At the track [ where I only run the car ] I want the fan on all the time.

Not on the C6. ECM sends a high frequency signal to the fan controller which varies the speed of the fan. Not sure what kind of signal it is though.
Need a Caspers switch or similar which sends the proper signal to the fan controller.
