I have an 07 C6 with automatic and 15k miles. I have an issue with none of the doors or rear hatch opening. The windows would go down slightly but the doors wont open. I replaced the battery in my fob but it made no difference. I just replaced the battery today with a red top Optima and I still can't open the doors or start the car. I just get a clicking noise when pushing start button. I put a volt meter on the battery and I read 12.5 volts. Anyone have an idea what is going on?
Have you tried your key fob in the glove box slot? Also try with the spare fob if you have one.
I haven't tried the glove box slot but neither of my remotes do anything except lower the window a bit when trying to open door. I tried jumping the car but it still does the same thing. I did notice that the left rear tail lights were blinking and the front left amber light was also blinking when I had the jumper's hooked up. It is a new battery so don't think it is battery related.
so...can you provide us with a run down on what transpired and when...when was the last time the car ran and how long was it down when you attempted to start it up again. help us help you.

I had driven the car the night before this happened. I have been having issues with my auto not coming out of park. I may have stopped and re-started the car several times trying to get it out of park. I do not drive my vette much (once a week) but it always seems to turn over nicely including the previous night. The next day I tried to open my door and the window went down a bit like always but the door wouldn't open. I replaced the fob battery thinking it was that but it didn't help. I then got my other fob and it did they same thing. I replaced the battery with new but the same thing happens. I even took the battery from my truck and the same thing. I just get a faint clicking noise.
A fully charged battery in my car reads about 13.15 volts. You may have a problem with your new battery not being fully charged.
Hmmm.....I put my 2013 truck battery in and the car acted dead with it. I put my new optima battery in my 2013 truck and the truck started fine. I am pretty confident my batteries are ok.
Check the positive cable connection at the starter. That connection has caused problems for others with corrosion and/or tightness.
I checked the connection and everything seems fine. FYI, I only have 15k miles on this car and it is always garaged and never driven in rain. Starter solenoid connections look brand new.
I just went through a situation similar with my 08. The wire going into the alternator shorted out and fried the alternator. (3wire single plug on top by engine cover) I originally thought it was the battery. I replaced it and it still would not crank. We hooked up jumper cables, let it run for a second with a few blips of gas on the charging car and I was able to get it cranked.
On the way to the dealer, the low voltage light warning came on. If yours does the same, its probably the alternator.

I am curious if you had a completely dead car? No interior lights? No dash light etc? Because mine is completely dead. I actually did try jumping it with my truck but same issue.
Make sure your battery connections are good especially the ground. The GM clamps are garbage. They should be tight enough not to be able to wiggle them. I was trapped inside once because of the ground being loose and a sill cover blocking the door release handle.
If the battery was strong enough to start your truck it is easily strong enough to open your doors.
