Default Bilstein Bushings

I finished installing Front and Rear Bilstein HD shocks on my 08 Z51 A6. The stockers I removed are still in good shape. The HD gives me a softer ride which is what I was looking for however.............
I am very disappointed with the quality of the Bilstein Boot, Bumpstop and bushings. nowhere close to being as good as OEM. I have attached some photos the first 3 are of the front shock / bushings and the last is of the rear. I reused the OEM Boot, Bump Stop and Bushings on the Front Shocks using only the shock from bilstien. On the rear I reused the Boot and Bump Stop and went with the bushings supplied by bilstein because I did not like the condition of my old bushings and did not feel good about putting them back in the car. I'm writing this because I looked everywhere for some pictures and could not find any only peoples comments, now we have some photos. This is my first time using Bilstein ever, I have used KYB in the past for different vehicles and like very much the quality of their products including boots and bump stops and may try them the next time around. Hope these pics help someone down the road.

In my photos shown some left over parts contained in the Pin Top Bushing assembly, radius delrin bushing along with steel spacer. Top/bottom hard coat anodized aluminum cups, and the poly spacer are in the assembled photos:

This kit enable the shock to articulate without frictional, or softer rubber type bushing's sluggish reponse. Delrin bushings shown no wear after thousands of fun miles.

You get the idea?

victorF, yes I get the idea. What is this called and where does it come from? Maybe a source and part number, It killed me to install old parts in the front and that cheap generic junk in the rear. I now have a jingle sometimes when I hit a bump, wasn't there before, kinda sounds like loose stabilizer bar ends on a regular type car, but the ride is better.

Its is called Spherical Pin Top Bushing, price was higher than the Bilstein Sports but worth it.

Unfortunately guys, it was an Pfadt product. Harbar has an variation of the ball/socket type also, but that company's current status is unknown.
