Default Change in tire size

Hello. First post other than intro!
I have a 2008 base 6spd F55 car with the "Gumby" wheels I guess they're called. Can I fit 325/30's in the rear and 275/35's on the front with no issues? Obviously the rim diameters would be the same. Not too worried about the front as I have 265/35's now but the backs now are 305/30's. Not sure how this would affect ABS and/or other functions. Thanks.

The rears need to be 1.047 times as tall as the fronts. That's ideal. There's room there for small differences. Then, you need to be concerned with the 325 rears rubbing. I don't think I'd put a 325 tire on a non wide body rim though. 305's play nice on the rear and aren't that noticable vs a 325. 3/8" wider on each side is about it.

I drove my Grand Sport in a hard rain recently. During that white knuckled trip, I really wished I'd been on narrow body rubber

I don't need tires now, but there's a set I can get cheap. I'll need them eventually but if they won't fit they'll be useless to me. Thx for the info.
Anyone on here run 325's on the rear of a base vette on the factory rims?

I have 325's on rear with 11" wheels. They fit in car well, but 10" wheel is just to narrow for 325'S IMO

A 325 tire mounted to a 10" wheel is comparable to putting size 12 shoes on a size 8 foot. It can be done but the fit isn't right.

A 325 tire on stock offset wheels would have to rub.

ok - didn't think about rim size and they indeed aren't recommended for a 10" rim. Thanks all. If anyone is interested in them pm me and I can send the link if you're near Buffalo,NY.
