i don't know much about the autos, were they available in the 2.73 and the 3.42 on the 05.. but I find it interesting that the COW booster is not available for 2005 cars
thats because the 2005 is an enigma, GM was in to much of a hurry to intro the C6, it's half C5 half c6 neither half done very well some came with 4 speed auto's some with 6. it has a computer system ALL it's own.

Really? I should give mine back then...lol.
I don't know what the website currently says but, I had a COW booster on my previous 2005 car. I'll have a new one installed at SEMA this year...(If it is still available...)

Say whaaaat? I'm sure you are generalizing when you say half and half...perhaps the front engine/rear trans from the C5 is the half?
Are you saying some 2005 cars came with 4 speed autos and some came with 6 speed autos...or just 6 speeds.
To the OP...there was a 3:15 performance rear axle available and I suspect you don't have it. Check the glove box (does anyone keep gloves in there?) for a list of options. Also, make sure the trans is starting out in 1st gear...could be a prob there.

Neither half done very well? Tell that to some of these guys.

Generalizing or whatever...the only 6spd available in 05 was a MN6. The guys with the A4 make a killing at the track! I'm a manual guy but ya gotta give cred where due.
Thanks a lot for the great info, sorry about the GS confusion, I am new in the Corvette world, after waiting for almost 8 years for it!!! It will be tuned next week, will let the group know the outcome.
Thanks!!!!
p.d. looking to keep learning from this forum persons, it's great!!!
