I picked up like 25-30 tq across the board. It made a big difference.
I got the flex fuel as well so slightly more involved. Really you just need bigger injectors.

You didn't have to get a different fuel pump? Does the flex just allow you to run reg and 85 or all the way to race fuel?
I have 1 2013 Tundra with flex fuel 5.7 engine. Used E85 once while on road trip thru Kansas. Performance went to hell and MPG dropped from 18+ to 13+. Can't even think it would be ok in a Vette.

Your tundra is tuned to function on e85, it is doubtful that it has a timing table adjusted to give you max performance etc. Yes your MPG will suffer a bit, but its about a dollar cheaper than premium. It is like running race fuel, and won't stink like gasoline with no cats.
Running it for performance and running it in a factory flex vehicle are two different stories. It burns cooler and you can get way more timing with it.
It isn't tuned to run on E85, but will use it at a cost in HP and MPG. If you lose 25% MPG were is the savings. Truck has factory cold air package and performance dual exhaust and is a beast for get up and go, but with E85 nothing. Spend your money on cheaper gas and expensive tuning, I'll stick with my 93 octane Intune and Shell premium Gas.

Well... With premium at 3.84 or so and e85 at 2.99 or less it about balances out... But it isn't about savings. To regular folk it's about less oil dependency since it is mostly corn. To us vette guys it is about performance, which you unleash a ton of with a good tune. If you aren't looking for that extra timing and stuff on a built up motor then by all means stick with your premium 93... But for those of us looking for mid range and peak power etc it is a great way to go. Not like we have to run it every day, just when we want that extra umph.

Again you're talking from a factory motor mind set so you obvi aren't looking for the same performance as the group e85 appeals to. When you have 10+ k into a motor and they're tuning it anyway, you aren't paying for "an expensive tune and cheap gas" you're getting another fuel option with a tune you're paying for anyways.

I am running dstecks flexfuel setup and tune on my z06
I am running ID850 injectors and swapped to a walbro 450 fuel pump to be safe
Never dynoed it on 93 to see the difference between 93 and E85
Previous owner of my 11 GS converted to E85. Gained around 30rwhp. The car was otherwise stock. Only thing he did was run the 93 all the way down, add e85, and retune. FAST Motorsports handled the tuning. With no other mods the stock injectors were fine and not quite maxed out (but close). The car has more done to it now and is back to 93, only because e85 is not as easily found near me.
sleepy88, why was the car not left with the for fuel tune? was it's you didn't have to upgrade injectors for the added parts?
I don't live around e85 either but if I knew I was going to the track and could get pump vp 110 and throw in a few gallons to up the octane for a better mix with 93 I would love that option.
