I apologize in advance if this has been asked before.
I have an 08 C6 base, 2LT with the F55 option (no Z51 code on my RPO sticker in the glovebox). I do however have the larger slotted/cross drilled rotors. I ordered a set of powdercoated C6 base calipers from a CF vendor. I took them to a local shop for an install, and they told me the brackets did not fit. Apparently, they were smaller than the ones already on my car. Visually, they said the actual calipers looked the same but did not actually remove them.
My question is, does anyone know for sure if my brakes are considered base or Z51?
Are your rotors drilled AND slotted? Factory Z51 rotors are drilled only. No slots. If you have OEM calipers on there now and are just replacing them with OEM powder coated calipers they should be a direct replacement. The bracket should have nothing to do with it since you are just replacing one factory caliper with another.

My bad. They are just drilled. If they are the factory Z51 rotors as you say, then by definition I guess I must have the Z51 calipers?
Calipers are the same no matter if it has Z51 or not. In other words there is no such thing as Z51 calipers. Only the rotors and brackets are different.
My understanding is that 2007+ F55 included the brakes from the Z51.
Based on the fact that they sell brackets to allow base cars to use Z51 rotors, I believe the calipers are the same (base/z51/f55). Edit: What EVRose just said :/).
