Height adjustment bolt removal
Does anyone know if height adjustment bolts can be removed by just jacking up the spring? Or is it necessary to dismantle the lower suspension to get enough clearance to pull the bolt out?

I recently replaced my rear bolts. I had to remove the upper control arm bolts to get enough room to maneuver the height bolt out. I would think the same is true for the front as well.
Others may have another way to do it.

+1 that at least on the rear you need to disconnect the UPPER A-arm at the frame, the sway bar end link, and the shock to allow the lower A-arm to drop enough to get the bolt out even with the spring compressed as much as you can. No experience with removing the front.

As has been stated, you cannot remove the adjusting bolt with dropping the suspension. I suggest you drop the upper control arms, that way you don't have to mess with the lower ball joint.
