Gm performance exhaust
As stated, its a Borla exhaust (touring or the louder sport models), so you can order such from Borla for less money (no GM mark up).
As for performance, it we are taking exhaust note, then yes, but HP gain, NO.
The gain will come from the exhaust manifold and cats. The Z06 uses a slightly longer exhaust manifold to help scavenge more exhaust before it hit the cats (cats a little farther down line) over the stock system and you pick up around 10 to 15HP that way instead.
On long tube headers with cats well down line (not CARB approved since the cats are moved too far down stream), then you can pick up 30 to 40 HP instead.
Simply, Its at the exhaust manifold and cats swaps that you are picking up power, while any piping from there back to the muffler tips is just sound note changes instead.
Also keep in mind weight, since if you are scrapping a TI system, and installing a SS one, you may just gaining more weight.
