Muffler removal.

Anyone taken the mufflers out of the car and ran it that way? Just did it to mine and it sounds pretty good. Keeping the h pipe of course. Just looking for some feed back.

I took off the borla B&B Bullets, and now i'm looking at the price and damn they are expensive.

Only thing you really need to worry about is making sure you're not cooking your rear spring I think.

You may also get fumes in the car that will put you to sleep.

I had to drive home from a buddy's shop without mufflers. Open X pipe. It was embarrassing how crappy it sounded.

Sounded like some old chevy truck/tug boat/white trash combo. It's horrible.

Well i'm probably gonna put it back soon. the exhaust cut out is right by the transmission and almost pointing at the differential, so it gets me a bit paranoid.

npp exhaust gets you straight pipes upon hard acceleration wide open throttle operation and muffled sound once you back out of the throttle. Best of both worlds.
