Default window inop

Yesterday I got in my 2006 vert & the pass window went down by it self. Tried a restart & still inop from both switches. This AM worked OK from drivers switch, still inop on pass switch. This afternoon worked ok from all switches. Anybody seen this?

Sounds like an intermittent pass switch.

The window has been working fine until last week. Wouldn't go down with pass switch, ok from drivers switch. Got out my china tech 2. The pass switch shows no signal down, ok up. Bad switch, get it out of car & take it appart. There is some white corrosion on the printed circit board. Clean it with maf spray that I had & brush lightly with small stainless brush. Put some dielectric grease on it & works fine.

I think when it didn't work the corrosion was sending wrong switch inputs to the computer
like a up & down at the same time & the computer said no, I'm not going to let the window move in either direction. The problem was very intermitent. The first failure was 2 years ago!
