Default O ring Missing????????

I just installed a new radiator in my 07 Z51. One of the fittings that goes to the engine cooler is leaking. Am I missing something here?

I had the snap ring properly installed with the plastic retainer in place, but oil was seeping from this connection.

Thanks,
Dave

Might need to replace the O ring in the connector.

Also, make sure that there is not burs on the end of the tube that snap back in to the connector (will not allow it to seal clean against the O ring).

The actual hose does not have an O-ring. It's a snap fit connection which should be snug. You need to replace the bung that screws into the radiator.

The bung (compression type fitting that screws into the radiator), has a O ring inside it to seal off against the end of the tube that gets inserted to lock into it. This inner bung O ring is either missing, or needs to be replaced.

Yep!...........

One thing that I notice is the bung itself looks different than the one in my car. I wonder if it was repaired. I'll post pics later.

This is the trans line connecting bung on my 2013 GS.

I would swap these in as it will eliminate one point of failure (the threaded on nut connector).
