Default Replace stock radio with stock nav unit

I have a 05 coupe with stock radio, 6 disc changer,*XM*radio, Bose system, no onstar. I want to replace the stock unit with a stock nav unit. Anyone know if this woild be possible with the component I have installed? Will the GPS use the XM*antenna*or will I need a seperate antenna? I also would assume the wiring would just plug into the nav unit, I hope. Any help or suggestions, or other sites to check out would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your bose system already has the VSS harness (taped back to the large radio harness)..

If you have on-star, then you already have the factory mic. If not, the wire is there, but will need to cut the hole to install the factory mic.
One in the plastic bottom left.

You will need a factory nav antenna, but they are only around $50, and it gets mounted to the same position using the same factory tabs (above the center ducts to the left, and one of the tabs you are just going to use a zip tie to secure it to that tab, instead of the pins that comes with the Nav antenna that would require the dash to be pulled instead).

The only last thing will be if you are buying a used OEM nav unit. It will need to be security cleared so it can marry to your car (Dealer will charge around $100 to use a Tech II to clear the used NAV unit so it will marry to your car once you have it mounted in the car)

I have 05, and replaced with Kenwood radio with all the bells and whistle except for the GPS cause it easy to update the maps just plug it into computer.

Here's all options I have, and they all work great.

The big advantage to an OEN nav is HUD works with the nav. I have an OEM nav out of my 08. It's collecting dust.

Does no good collecting dust. Do you want to get rid of it and clear some shelf space?
