8/27/14-car cranks OK but will not start; dealer service found melted terminal in connector C420 in the fuel pump wiring harness; GM does not service the terminals or wiring harness connector; wiring repaired and connector bypassed; car starts.
9/26/14-car cranks will not start or car starts & engine runs very rough at low RPM's or car starts, engine runs very rough at low RPM's briefly then recovers to normal operation; dealer service found melted terminal in fuel pump fuse block; dealer service recommending fuse block replacement at a cost of $1,000.
I am concerned that there are other undiscovered problems that are causing the above meltdowns which could cause fuel pump failure, fuel safety hazards, or impairment of the value and future use of the car.
How about a little info about the car like year, what modifications the car has etc............. They may all look alike but there are many differences in the C5's based on year.

It is a 2006 Corvette C6 hatchback with 43,000 miles. The car is stock as delivered at the time of purchase with no modifications. I am the original owner. It is a 6 speed manual with the standard LS2 engine and handling package.
