After returning home from Carlisle I found this connector hanging below the radiator on the pass side.Its a 08 base with magnetic ride and m6 tranny.It seems to be only on the 08's as I checked 09's and later yrs.
Went thu the FSM and could'nt find anything like it.Anyone have a clue?
Also, everything works and no codes set.Just curious.

Connector for underhood light. Should have a christmas tree on it that fits a hole half way up passenger side radiator.

Thanks for the reply.I found out that the 06 was the last year the light was included.My 08 was an early build (1269) so it must have a wire harness left over from earlier years.

I am pretty sure the pig tail was on all models to 2013. Probably more economical for GM to leave it as opposed to deleting it from production.
