Mine also broke, slightly different model. Made a clunk clunk noise whenever the wheel is in rebound, because the shaft of the shock rattles inside the coil before it lands back in the coil seat. No noticeable change in handling (on smooth pavement, wheel bounces obviously on rough road)

Anyone have more reliable coilovers? I love(d) the ride quality before it felt/sounded like the wheel was coming off. I actually jacked the car up (not easy on a lowered Z06) in a restaurant parking lot in Knoxville to pull on the wheel to see if it was indeed coming off. Sounded like the world was ending behind the passenger seat going over any bump.

You can see where the shaft end likes to sit on the coil mount.

Mind the gap!

LG has a long history of reliable Corvette parts, so I put theirs on.

No Surprise here..

Call RideTech, you wont find a better product or customer service from what I have experienced. LG makes a fine product but I don't like how they ride. RideTech nailed it with the spring rates and shock valving in my opinion, perfect compromise between performance street car and race car.

Don't like how which rides? While our entry level GT2 setup is only built one way, they do offer a number of different shock settings to more custom tailor it to each setup.

Now our G2 line of coil overs are completely built from the ground up per customer per car. So with these we can go all the way from full on drag cars to Daytona full aero cars. I would even venture to say these shocks have won more national, regional, and Pro races than any other bolt on coil over for the Corvette.

Congrats on you're wins! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, dollar for dollar I think RideTech makes a nicer product. I was a customer of lg for years, ultimately it was your customer service that turned me off when I had a issue with one of your products. I got nothing but excuses, poor ones at that. Can't drink the LG koolaid anymore, sorry...

Yikes, my car came with the Pfadt coilovers, and I read nothing but problems with them.

The Ridetech shocks will surprise a lot of people. Just for the record all Triples are built to custom valve specs to meet the customers needs.
