Here's a pic of the front bars. If you look closely, you can tell that the Eibach (the one without the end links and bushings) is slightly larger. The front Eibach bar is also slightly heavier than the stocker.
I've just finished installing the front bar.
I'll test them tomorrow, weather permitting, and report back.

Here's a pic of the rear bars. The stock GS bar is on the top and the Eibach below it. The Eibach appears to be slightly bigger and is definitely heavier. Also, when you look at it up close, it appears to be of a better quality too, with a more consistent diameter/no distortion through the bends like the stocker. It actually fits better than the stock one did too.
I'm pretty sure stock bars are hollow, so the eibachs may be solid or at least thicker wall.

That's correct. Both sets are hollow and relatively light, compared to a solid bar. However, you can "hear" that the Eibach bars are more solid i.e. has a thicker wall, hence the added weight. It's not a big difference but noticeable. Wish I had a scale handy to weigh each of them, but I didn't.

Tested the bars this evening. I can now say that they are well worth. the money. The car is noticeably stiffer, although not harsh, and I threw the Vette around a few roundabouts and it corners much flatter than before.
The great thing is that the clunk that I got from the right muffler hitting the stock bar when I drove over a speed bump is gone.
My only peeve is that I ordered the red powder coated bars (to match my calipers) and they sent me the grey ones instead. But I can live with that.
I would highly recommend these bars, especially given that they are much cheaper than most of the other bars on the market.

Great that everything worked out for you,a friend of mine would be interested to hear that they make an improvement on the GS since he has one as well, on the base model it is too much since i don't feel the mag ride kick in and i find the rear a little stiff with the eibach bar so i am thinking of replacing the stock rear and leaving the eibach in the front then i can have the best of both worlds.

Maybe you and your friend should try swapping out your Eibachs for his stock GS bars then? That may give you each what you want.

Personally, I would be very cautious about mixing sway bars unless you are trying to remedy a specific problem. These cars handle pretty good "right out of the box" with a bias towards understeer, and by mixing bars you could be unbalance the suspension with unintended consequences.

I also have a set of Eibach bars on my 05 with mag ride option, and they made quite a difference in handling. These bars are not available in red for C5 or C6's.

I just put the Eibachs on my 09 Base A6, made a huge difference. My original base bars were tiny. I went with QA1 single adjustable shock and I am loving it. RamAir SS CAI/ headers/HF Cats/GS NPP Mufflers/Granatelli spark plug wires/NGK Laser 6 plugs/Tune and I now have a 513 HP motor/446 rwhp, yahoooooo

I'm very happy with the Eibachs. To me, they fit better than the stock GS bars (no more mufflers banging on the rear sway bar) and when you look at them closely you can see they are better quality. My car sits flatter through corners now, so they are stiffer than the GS bars, without making the ride significantly harsher. I especially like that they were nearly half the price of most of the other upgrade bars.
