Default Tfs 255

First of the car is an 06 C6 6 speed with a 402, ported 243's, comp Lsr 235/251 .621/.624 on a 115, fast 92 and 1 7/8 headers and put down 506 to the wheels. I have a set of TFS 255's and an intake sitting on a shelf, do you guys think I will gain enough to warrant putting them on?

I would do it. Rectangular port heads tend to flow better.

But......heard that cathedral port heads maintain/gain more low/mid range power.

I guess I can't find any real comparisons on these heads so I may have to be the test mule

You should be able to gain a solid 40rwhp with the Trick Flow heads if you have them milled to the same chamber size as your ported 243 heads. Don't want to lose compression. My Trick Flow 255 LS3 heads flowed 391cfm at .650" straight out of the box. Most 243 heads flow below 320. With a cam that small, you will have ample low rpm torque with the 255 Trick Flows.

Yes, don't mill the TFS 255 LS3 heads if you plan on running a supercharger.
