Default engine ignition

Hey guys.

I have a 2007 c6 and i have been facing two major problems for almost a month now.
1-when ever i push the ignition switch to turn off the engine the gauges goes all black but still the engine is running for 5 to 10 seconds and then it goes off.
2-battry is draining dead. I have changed two batteries so far in less than a month.....somthing is going on with car which i dnt know from where its coming the extra electricity even when the car is all off.
I have cheked all the fuses and relays there all ok.
Couple of days ago the gauges gave me random alarms such as ABS service light...Hatch AJAR ......then it got all cleared when i changed the battery.
The local dealership is claming that i need to replace the EBCM & BPMV as no communication between them.
but i dont trust the dealership here.
did any one faces such issue
please help

One rule of thumb for diagnosing problems is the vast majority of symptoms are created by a single problem. It is highly unlikely given normal failures that more than one problem exists at one time. If more than one problem exists at one time then it is likely due to human intervention/screw ups.

Make sure you know what the mechanic is telling you. The EBCM and the BPMV are bolted together. The BPMV contains the pump motor, solenoids and valves that are controlled by the EBCM. If you have a low battery you can get some weird problem indications from the EBCM. The EBCM communicates with the ECM, BCM and Transmission Control Module through the GM High Speed LAN. The BPMV doesn't communicate with anything. If he is getting a NO Comm indication for the EBCM that doesn't necessarily mean the BPMV needs replacing. The discussion is a complicated one and depends on superior communication skills between you and the mechanic.

Electrical circuits can develop high resistance shorts that will drain a battery and the EBCM could do that but it would be rare. You need to understand whether the mechanic has thoroughly investigated the problem Vs using EBCM history codes that were the result of a low battery Vs an actual failure in the EBCM or its circuits. Did he pull the ABS fuses to make sure the EBCM and BPMV were disconnected from the battery to verify the current drain stopped when the fuses were pulled?

Thank you Bill for your Kind reply,

unfortunately we don't have good technicians here do diagnose such issues that's the reason they gave me different assumption in different parts that has to be replaced believe it or not they gave me an estimation cost of repair more tah 4000$!!!! thats an indication that they have no idea whats going on.
the reason of that they want to rip me off and they are not professional i don't know if GM aware of this stupid dealership that we have im really upset with there services.
any way the car still runs good with a fully charged battryes, but yet itll get draind still. i took the car to a guy who has an expeirence in GM cars specially Camaro and vettes, initially he thinks that it has somthing to do with that FOB in the dash maybe.
