Default LS7 info

I'm looking to build another LS7 for my Z just in case the one I have now takes a dump. Problem is I'm kind of new at this LS engine thing. With all the different heads (6 bolt etc) long and short snout cranks, reluctor's, forged and not forged, what parts go together and what won't blah blah. Unless you deal it everyday it gets a bit confusing. So question is.... What's the publication I can buy to clear all this up so I can make a decision on what I need and then what to go buy? Not trying to build a monster motor, maybe 550RWHP... 500TQ
Any help here would be really appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up but that's a bit more than I care to mess with.
Really just looking for some info so I can sort this out.

You can do that on cam, heads, intake, exhaust, headers and a good tune.

I get that and I already have that. But what I'm asking for is info to go buy the parts I need to build a replacement motor for the one I have. So really a book about LS motors so I can learn a bit more about them.

Not as much detail as you're looking for but a starting point nonetheless.
