Default Timed power draw

2005 A4 coupe no OnStar... Getting a ~2.6A draw. Seems like a common issue from other posts I have read, but Im at a dead end trying to track down whats causing the problem.
Car in park, parking brake up, doors locked, key out of range. The car will power down to a .17A draw (normal I assume?) for approximately 2 minutes. After 2 mins, the draw will bump up to ~2.6 for :45-1 minute, then go back down to .17A
Pulling the #26 fuse in the underhood box (bat power for the interior fusebox?) will get rid of the timed draw.
Moving into the interior fusebox, I have pulled all fuses individually (except SDM/PSIR Airbag) and can get the draw to move from 2.6A to .6A when the radio fuse is removed. The problem is that there is still something waking the computer up for :45-1 minute.
The car has had another previous owner so I am not sure if he/she had the computers updated. Ideas on where to go next?

See if the computer has been updated.

If you haven't seen this discussion, it's long, but there is some good info and ideas in it along with actual draw test results:
