Default midi pie ??

Just curious, our vette is an 08 A6, ls3. it has an x pipe right now just curious would an H - pipe, change the sound much, not really looking for performance, as posted, just curious . oh and it has npp with the fuse pulled . Thanks

Honestly I was trying to figure out what a "midi pie" was?
Now that I know, I have 1-7/8" long tubes with a high flow catted X-pipe and NPP exhaust.

From what I have read I think the H-pipe will cause more burbling and popping because it tends to "trap" the exhaust air flow compared to the X-pipe.

I had a '64 vette with under-the-car off-road exhaust and it was loud. I put in an H pipe to "equalize the pressure" and it took some of the rappy noise out of it. I'm not sure an H pipe is what you want.

In C5's everyone was replacing the H pipe with a X pipe to reduce popping and motorboat sound.
