I have a c6z tuned on 98 octane fuel ( which is available at gas stations in my country) and im doing a road trip + track day on the car but the problem is where im going they only have 95 octane fuel in the stations.
Do they sell race fuel at the track you are visiting? If they do you could easily mix the higher octane race fuel with the stuff you buy at the track.
unfortunately not
ive been reading about royal purple booster , is it any good ?
maybe I can take 5 gallon can of fuel with me for the trip but im not sure it will be enough for the whole trip ( about 5-6 fill ups including going there- track fillups - going back) ?
Check the mix amount needed to bump 30 points, hence 95 to 98 of what every booster you are planning on using.
Also, double check with your tuner to see if he left the low octane sparks tables in tack, hence the car will switch over to them if you are not running 98 octane. If it will, then fine for the road trip on the 95, and when you get to the track, should be able to fill up with Race fuel to bump the numbers in the tanks to take the fuel in them at least 98.

thanks alot , I'll check with him today, car made 510rwhp with headers/CAI with still alittle more if i want to squeeze it but i still kept it safe tune on rich side .. dont want to go back to the 93/95 tune
royal purple max boost claim 30 points and a 1 bottle (16oz) for 25 gallons mixture which might suits me but im not sure if its available in my country have to check today
What country are you in, if you don't mind me asking? Go to your local auto store and see what they have in the way of octane-booster. If they have nothing reputable, you'll have to either take it easy (no WOT) on the trip and fill up with some race fuel at the track, or you'll have to talk to your tuner about a 95 octane tune.

Im currently in Kuwait going to Bahrain F1 circuit since its the closest track by me approx.4-5 hours drive
Ill talk today with the tuner about a 95 tune.
dumb question .. i know that i can have 2 fuel maps tunes but is it automated ? or do i have to get a fuel map device of some sort ?
The trip there and back will be fine on 95 as long as you're not going WOT the whole time. If you're tuned for 98, I wouldn't run anything less on the track. As others have suggested, check to see how your tuner set up the octane tables. I don't know much about Royal Purple's octane booster but Torco is a proven octane booster and gets good results. I'd bring along some 98 and a few cans of Torco. Or if a search of Royal Purple produces good results, use that. Just make sure you're using an octane booster that is actually proven to raise octane enough to be safe for your tune and not the almost useless claims of "raises octane 8 points!", which would only be 95.8 in your case.
