Well that's better news.
Also scratch that idea of pulling the wires off one at a time, as this could prove a problem with possibly burning up a catalytic converter, unless your running without them.
Not that many miles, but I've read here that some cams/lifters had to be changed under warranty early in the cars life.

Did you ever get this fixed. My ls3 did the same thing.Checked the wires to make sure they were on good.thought it might be an exhaust leak because it came and went.
Put new headers on it.It was the same.
Car finally started running rough and was shaking on my way to the house today.Service active handling came on.Got to the house pulled it in the garage and opened the hood while it was running.Looked to see if I could see sparks.Nothing!
Pulled the plug wires near the ticking noise with a tools that's made for this.On the second try the car smoothed out.So it's running smoother on seven then eight.
Grabbed a spare oem wire and replaced the offending wire.Runs smooth with no loud ticking ,has a lot more power and service light is out.
After changing the oil and putting in sea foam. drove it easy for 50 miles. no more noise. Im guessing a collapsed lifter
I was reading on their web site if adding sefoam to the oil, it should be done 100 to 300 miles before a routine oil change. Do you have intentions to change the oil again?
My car seems to get the slightly noisy lifter/rocker sound on and off, and I may try seafoam in the future.
I put fresh oil and filter in since it had not been changed in a while with the seafoam. I have read guys that used cheaper oil to do this, but for the $35 in oil and filter, I did it with mobil 1 and will change oil/filter again in next few 100 miles or if the oil becomes dirty sooner.
