I got my refund from Brakemotive yesterday after almost 2 weeks of them having the rotors back in their hands. Emails to them and starting an Action on Ebay got it done. People say they are good but I'm done with this group. This was my first time dealing with them and it was disaster, never again.

I figure it this way, they had at least one customer complaint on the rotors so they know that they are no good and they continue to sell them in what hoping dumb people won't notice. That's really think about your customers.

I'm not discounting your experience with them but I don't imagine the different sized holes would have a measurable, let alone noticeable change in performance. Especially since the small holes are the same as OEM. I realize these rotors are purchased for looks more than performance, but once they're behind your wheels and calipers and 10 feet apart from each other, I don't feel many people would notice. Still if you are unhappy with them, you should definitely return them. But I bet there a lot of people who wont be as picky and will install them as is. Plus they may not be able to scrap an entire shipment without some type of loss. Hence why they are still selling them.

Might just be me but my guess is few to no Corvette owners would tolerate or agree with any of that!

You may be right. As a Corvette owner myself, it's not a big deal and I probably wouldn't bother returning them. I also think that opting for rotors on the lower end of the price spectrum doesn't bring as picky an outlook, relatively speaking. So I still think they will be able to sell these. Especially if they fit other makes of cars. I don't think they look bad and they still function the same. But as I said, if you are unsatisfied you should return them. Don't accept compromises you don't want.

We tested with plating rotors many years ago, it doesnt work. They do look very good for awhile ( 3 months) or so but they will start getting white chalky lookings streaks in them that you can not remove. The best thing we have found is high heat spray paint. It will last 10 times as long as the plating and when it does degrade you can repaint.

To each his own. Do you have stock in this company or something. I bet with so few holes they work just like the ones with no holes. The POINT is if you do not get what you pay for and accept that, well I have some beachfront property for sale in Arizona if anyone is interested. It's called Bad business.

And if you look at the pic on my previous post, it's not just the hole size, but the pattern of the holes is very different also. I have 5 spoke wheels, and the discs are very easy to see. I can't imagine many people would be happy with that. Also, a larger drill hole would be more likely to crack.

You seem like a person who gets defensive very easily. I'll have to remember that the next time I post something which might be disagreeable to you. As I posted more than once, if you are not happy I agree you should return them.

Sorry, not trying to seem defensive. However I am a straight forward kind of guy, I do what I say and say what I do and when someone shows disrespect for their customers I find that action totally unacceptable, then when someone comes along and tries to justify this unacceptable behavior, well It's just not me. I thought I was very kind in the description of my dissatisfaction with their product, I could have written what I was thinking.

Understood. I guess I was just looking at it a different way and not in the mindset of a dissatisfied customer. Glad you were finally taken care of.
