06-07 will also work. Be sure to get the mild 2 wild or similar controller unless you prefer to hear the drone.

I thought the NPP came out in 2008? I plan on buying the best controller that is a remote.

Why would l hear a drone?

Thanks

There is a NPP exhaust for sale now in our parts for sale section but it came off a 2012 base and is 2 1/2 inchs. The pipe diameter seems right but the year?

Please advise, it is 3 1/2 hrs from me and l will drive.

Thanks

Only NPP from an 08 will fit. Ignore the post telling you 05-07.

2012 will fit if you have an 09+ mid pipe. Diameter is not the concern, it the connection with the mid pipe. 09 changed the mid pipe shape slightly.

muffler shop can make the 09-13 npp fit the h-pipe you already have for a few bucks more. I believe its only the passenger side that needs tweaking.

06-07 z06 bi-mode exhaust is not a direct bolt-on as it will need a little tweaking also.

Thanks for the tips. By the way what is the best and easiest to install remote.

I do not have a clue how to install it and will probably throw out my back.

Thanks

Kingman,
If I were doing the NPP retrofit on my car I'd most likely use the sunset orange creations kit. It comes with everything to install minus the NPP mufflers obviously. They have pretty decent directions as well. I think they are a vendor on here as well. This is the kit with the separate key fob that controls the exhaust valves. They have a more expensive kit that makes it so you can use the unlock button inside the car and on the cars key fob.

I went with a used NPP-in-a-box kit and then made my own foot switch. The remotes were a little tacky to me. The foot switch on the dead pedal is always in the right place and easy to tap when I want them open .

I also used npp in a box along with the old school mild to wild in the dead pedal. no remotes to keep up with or buy batteries for.

Thanks for reminding me about batteries. My spare remote has been laying in my toolbox for 7 years and I hope the battery is not corroded.

The side bar mount for my roll bar goes where the dead pedal mounts. Maybe I should just go commando with the M2W and let the flaps fly in the breeze.
Then I wouldn't need no stinkin old school switch.
