If your setup requires a TC, and you want a new/high quality TC for optimal performance, then yes.....it's gonna cost you $750 to $1000.
But if you NEVER race your 'vette, then you can muddle through with the stock unit.

My cam that's about to go in requires and 3200 stall..also I just purchased a D1 SC..as far as racing goes,maybe an occasional trip down the dragstrip but that's about it..just driving to and from work and around town.
