Default TPMS sensor.

Driving on the highway and looked at the dash and this is what I see. Stopped, all tires good. I have learned a lot from this forum so here I'm asking again I know could be bad sensor or battery or probably any dirty connector. Where should I start.

What year, model and mileage? tpm sensors have a life span from approx. 6-10 years. You could have one that has a dead battery.

Looks like the sensor at the left rear wheel is dead or going dead. You are close to the end of life on your sensors as the batteries in them only last about 7 years on average.

You can try and reprogram the car to see if it will react to the sensor's broadcast but that usually provides a short time period fix. Sometimes not more than a few minutes. At 6 years it might be worth your while to install all new GM sensors. The tire store will need to break down the tire to install them although they don't need to remove the tire or rebalance if they don't move the tire on the rim.

Check with Bob at House of Wheels in Florida to see what he charges for GM Sensors. Do not get Dorman sensors at your local auto parts store. Their life time is short sometimes not more than a few days. The auto parts store will replace them once but you still have to pay to break the tire down again.

Take the car to Discount tire and they will try to program the sensors again. Hence the system can have a glitch and reprograming it will solve the problem but most of the time the battery in the sensor is about dead instead. If discount reprograming the sensors does not solve the problem, Just order 4 new OEM sensors, and have the old OEM's one's in your tires replace with new OEM (do not get the after market sensors, they will not last nearly as long as the OEM's).

Hence if the battery in one is gone south or dead, then the others are shortly to follow belong as well.

These are the oem's for the 2005 to 2009 corvettes,
