Well I just got my feelings hurt. I have been loving what I'm reading about the new mickey S/S tire (street/strip). They are supposed to be way better in the rain with the same hook as the et streets. Just got off the phone with Mickey Thompson though and was told they won't be out until late August or September. what a bummer.

I ran a 11.87,.......but I slowed down trying not to break out. It didn't help....I broke out, anyway.
I should be able to get a lot lower. My 60' were still above 2 seconds. When I get them below 2 and not let off trying not to break out, the times should drop.
The R's were a pleasure to drive compared to regular compounds. I always had bad wheel hop in 2nd, when I shifted. There were no problems with the R's. I just need more seat time to get my 60' times down.
I'm not driving them on the street. I have an extra set of stock mag wheels I have them mounted on.
Today I'm going to have some Bridgestone RE-11's mounted on the rear. The standard NT05's that I have had for 30k miles are ready for replacement.

Thanks! I just called them. They billed my credit card, but they can not tell me when they will ship. This is my second bad experience with them in only my second time buying from them.
First time they sent me a set of "new" wheels with road grime on them. Never bought again for 10 years, now they bill me for product they don't have.....
