I own a 09 base model with a standard transmission, and have been offered a corsa sport axleback exhaust for pretty cheap ($600) from a buddy of mine. There is one issue though, the axleback is for an automatic trans in the 05-09' model years. I've been scouring the internets for the last few weeks to figure out if they are still compatable with my vehicle. From what I can tell, the mufflers and hanger positions, and the mid pipes are virtually the same. I was curious to know if I am mistaken, and if there are any unforseen issues I'm not aware of. I figure worst case, I could buy the system and have my exhaust guy make some pipe to make it fit. I would still be saving a ton of money. Thanks for any feedback.

Pull the OEM's off the car without cutting the muffler pipes, then take the new and old mufflers to a muffler shop to have him re-bend the new pipes to match the old pipes with his bender, or just bend new axle back pipes since they are bolt on to the Corsa sport mufflers.
And FYI, to pull the OEM mufflers without cutting the axle back pipes off the mufflers, will need to disconnect the front of the X pipe to drop them down and move them forward to disconnect the axle back from the X pipe first (why you see a lot of OEM mufflers for sale in Craigslist with the axle back pipe cut in half).
