Can the car down shift while using paddle shifters
While using the paddle shifters under rapid acceleration after shifting from 1st to 2nd while staying on the throttle in 2nd gear my RPMs spike rapidly. It feels like an automatic when you punch the gas and the RPMs drop and you get a burst of power, but this is when the paddle shifters are in use. I don't feel the tires slipping. I'm thinking the car is downshifting on its own, but that dosent make sense. I have a 09 LS3 and its bone stock. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

I do not understand what you are trying to say. Can you re-word your question as to tell us what s happening with different terms. My car only down shifts without my help when I am slowing or breaking and come to a stop.
