Default Push rod length?

Just ordered this cam with the trunion kit but still need to get springs and push rods. has anyone used this cam? What length pushrods?

Your cam info sheet shows a recommended push rod part number. Use it or check with Comp to see how long it is.

7.4" seems to be pretty common when using stock rockers and stock lifters.

But checking with an adjustable push rod tool is good insurance

Yeah I talked with comp and all they would tell me is I need to check after the cam is installed. I was trying to find someone who has installed the same setup to know for sure.

The above recommended 7955-16 pushrod per the Comp Cams website for your cam is 7.400 in length. Yes, measuring is the best way as it takes into account all the possible variables.

always measure! It is so rare these cars actually take a 7.4 we see everything from a 7.35 to 7.475. That is key to proper valvetrain control and a nice quiet valvetrain.
