Finally installed my Corsa Xtreme exhaust on my 2012 Grand Sport A6... Originally was just going to install an axle-back, but decided to buy an Xpipe as well... got the 4.5 inch polished tips... it sounds awesome... fills up the back quite nicely over OEM...

Very good. I have those same pipes on my '07 C6, w/o the x-pipe. Awesome sound. No droning at speed. I find mine a bit louder when cold, especially climbing a grade. When hot they mellow out just a bit. I have my set finished off with an aftermarket polished stainless filler plate. It slips right over the outlets and two small screws underneath hold it in place. Sets the pipes off nicely and adds a finished look.
PS- What's that x-pipe supposed to do anyway. I don't see how they can sound much gnarlier.

I got the xtremes and very happy with them. No drone at all .....I mean none at any rpm. Ready for the headers next.
Get ready for the next level of awesome. I bought my 07 (m6) with the sport on it (i would have put it on anyway i LOVE corsa) drove it for a year, then put on a set of ARH headers and catted x-pipe. HOLY CRAP the car came to life, it got louder but still no drone and the edge of my seat dyno says there was pretty good HP gains (haven't got it tuned yet) the car is a completely different animal. I hate stock exhaust on pretty much everything not just because of the weak sound but from a power stand point and efficiency stand point
I have the Corsa Xtreme axle-back (blk tips) & LG Motorsports 1-3/4" longtubes w/high-flow cats. Definitely wakes up the neighbors at start up, but zero drone when driving/cruising.
