[QUOTE=SEVINN;1589999344]Just a little FYI unless you have the drysump LS3 which i think only comes on the grand sport, if your gonna changed the timing chain, you'll need to drop the oil pan in order to clear the pick up tubes of the pump. if you keep your oem chain, then don't remove the pump.

[QUOTE=rpmextra;1589999382]Thanks, that's good to know. I have a c5r chain going in and I hadn't seen that mentioned anywhere before.

Did you mention to put locktite on the cam bolts?
I've seen those back out on more than one build and it ruins the engine. I meant to ask earlier when I was reading but got side tracked.

In that case, I think you can get away from from disconnecting the fuel line. Pull the rail and swing it over. If you have stock rails that is. I had mine done and running and the oil pressure sender failed. I was so worried cause I thought something was serious at first. Sender was oem with 30000 on it so didn't expect to to fail plus I just had the engine apart. A little panic for sure. Pulled the intake and did a little diagnosis and had relief lol

I've swapped a ton of intakes and never removed the fuel line. I just set a towel on the windshield and flip the fuel rail over onto the towel.

Even at that JoeG he just needs to swap a vacuum line from the rear of the intake. I'd just pull it up, and forward towards the front of the car. Only need a bit of room. The towel is a great to keep it tidy
