08 corvette no key help

Well my car arrives tomorrow, I have the key cut and blank FOB in hand so my worry right now is the car is on the top front of an 18 wheeler car transport truck, how can I get over the steering lock assuming it has one? and I may need to pull it from the rear to get it off the trailer assuming I can overcome the steering lock (if it has one) where would you recommend pulling it from?

the latest model vette I have had was an 06 this is newer and as its not here with me but on the truck on the way didnt know,, I feel a little stoopid asking but THANK YOU for putting my mind at rest phewwww

Well got my car,, it needs a good bath,, 1st thing the battery was scrap, soon got a replacement,, BCM cleansed and put back,, found the original FOB and changed the battery in it (never expected that) Pushed the button,, started right up,, no warning lights and good oil pressure
only thing is the seats do not operate correctly and the HVAC display (LCD) is out
Drives well,, just thought I would do this update and thanks for the handful who put my mind at rest with this 08 model

Just a thought because if you push the **** in it turns the HVAC off and you will have a blank screen. Push it again and it turns on. Took me about a month to figure that out.
