Window Indexing doesn't stop

Window Indexing doesn't stop
08 Z with manual.
Drivers window started to continuously go up and down a 1/2 inch ever time I close the door with the window up. I have tried to re-index the windows several times per the gm manual but it doesn't help.
The only two ways to stop the indexing is to start the car and put the manual in gear or lock the doors.
Has anyone solved the same issue?
I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Condition
Some customers may bring their vehicles into the dealership for a concern relating to the operation of their power windows.
Correction
Diagnose the exterior door handle switch as a possible cause for this condition. If diagnosis confirms the condition is caused by the exterior door handle
switch, replace both driver and passenger switches. Be sure to mark which switch comes from the driver and passenger doors. Parts will be requested
back through the Warranty Parts Center return process.
