what mod first
It has 24,000 original mi. The car was owned by the little old lady from Pasadena. One owner car it Has every service record since it's birth.
It has the 6.0 Liter. The car is bone stock.
would like to do just a few mods to it. Put a little snap in it's step.
Can anyone suggest what mods you would do if you were in my place?
Thank you in advance
Tim
I would find a used Z06 exhaust system manifold to mufflers (real cheap mod)
I would purchase a REAL CAI, a real one not just the filter.
Get a Good Tune. this should get an extra 35-40 HP. cheaply. under 1k.

It was a one owner car. She had every service record from Community Chevrolet in Burbank, Calif. Only 24,000 mi on it. looks and drives like new. I think it has 342 gears. feels like a top end car. Just want to have a little zip in it's step from a dead stop

and I get a lot of stuff off ebay. I think after selling my old stuff my ZR1 exhaust manifolds, cats and X pipe cost me around $250, installed it myself and then spent another $90 getting my mufflers welded in place, did not want to mess with clamps. There are a lot of info here on this mod.
I put a full Z06 manifolds to mufflers on it, mufflers have the mod kit. I made the mufflers bi mode work thru the home link buttons. I installed yella terra 1.8 rockers, a Vararam CIA, and home ported the intake manifold. I dyno tuned it and when we got done it is putting out 402/384 at the wheels. My car IS my daily driver that I use for work and everything else in the summer and I get around 24.5 mpg with it. The car definitely feels stronger than when I bought it.
Next year when I get a LS3 I plan to do the same exhaust and Vararam to that car too along with possibly a small cam and shoot for 450-460rwhp.
I also installed a bluetooth adapter to my stock Nav stereo so I could stream music and use my phone thru the stereo.
All the mods I've done including the dyno tune have cost me around $2300.

The bottom front of the shroud is held in place by two plastic snap-in push pins toward the center. Pull those out and the shroud can be propped open to easily let outside air directly in to the filter.
Hardware consists of two 5" long 1/4-20 pieces of allthread, eight 1/4-20 nuts, and four 1/4 x 1 fender washers.
Put 4 nuts on each allthread near the center and then a washer on each side. Spread the shroud open and insert one end of the allthread in the shroud hole and the other end in the metal frame hole where the shroud was attached. Do that on the other side too. Then start running the nuts away from each other (2 one way & 2 the other) to spread the shroud open to about a 3" space. Then tighten the pairs of nuts against each other (aka jam nut) to hold the position. There will will be more than enough tension to hold the washers in place and not have any fear of the whole part falling out.
You can install this in 10 minutes and return it to stock in half that time.
I did this to a friend's LS2 at the track. He had made 2 back to back passes at 12.38 and was happy, as that was a PB. 15 minutes later after the shroud prop, he ran a 12.22 and then a 12.23. The trap speeds were 2 mph faster too. Ya shouda seen the smile then.
Another thing you might try if you want to feel like there is more power, check into this. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...oller-wow.html
If won't add any HP, but you'll think it did.
