Which oil?
I picked up 6 Qts of Amsoil Sig Series 0w30 and will be getting the oil changed as well.
A few quick questions in regards to the car having aftermarket internal components:
Running :
Eforce Supercharger / Edelbrock CAI / Longtube Headers / C.O.W Cam / Exhaust / Melling Oil Pump / A1000 Fuel System
1. Will the 0w30 weight be worse for the car in any way as opposed to going the 5w30 route?
2. Should I still add half a bottle of Lucas ZDP Zinc additive to get the zinc content up ?
Here are the amsoil stats for additives:
0W30 Amsoil Signature Series
105,008 psi
zinc = 824 ppm
phosphorus = 960 ppm
moly = 161 ppm
calcium = 3,354 ppm
TBN = 11.4
3. Which oil filter would be best to use?
I live in Michigan, and the car will be sitting all winter long. Will running this oil be fine all spring/summer long?

Just wanted to make sure that the Zinc content in the oil will be sufficient. I'll probably get the Mobil 1 filter. I'll still be doing my oil changes at 3000 mile intervals, therefore I highly doubt that it will need anything more than that.
I'm sticking with Mobil 1 it's two bucks cheaper then Amsoil, plus I can not but it from O'reillys across the street from me.
You absolutely should run a zinc additive if you're running a Comp camshaft, or any aftermarket internal components for that matter.
